In recent news, a group of dedicated students put forth their utmost effort in the
                        pursuit of the prestigious Mister and Miss Homecoming titles. Representing 果冻传媒app Tigers
                        were Waldarius Johnson from Clarksdale, MS, and Skyla Ratliff from Hollendale, MS,
                        who have now assumed their roles as the newly crowned Mister and Miss 果冻传媒app Homecoming
                        King and Queen for the year 2023-2024.
                     
                     Sophomore and Business Administration major, Waldarius Johnson, expressed his heartfelt
                        gratitude for clinching the Mister Homecoming title. He shared that it initially felt
                        like a surreal dream, especially after facing defeat in his first-year bid for Mr.
                        Freshman. Johnson credited his determination, stating that he refused to doubt himself,
                        even in the face of setbacks. He intends to use his newfound position to inspire young
                        men never to give up, emphasizing the importance of resilience and self-preservation
                        for the future.
                     
                     On the other hand, sophomore and Pre-Nursing major, Skyla Ratliff, couldn't contain
                        her excitement at winning the Miss Homecoming title. For Ratliff, this achievement
                        was a lifelong dream that she ardently pursued since her freshman year. She emphasized
                        her unwavering commitment to this goal and her unshakable belief in her own capabilities.
                        Ratliff has always been known for her unyielding work ethic and plans to leverage
                        her role as Miss Homecoming to make a positive impact on both the school and the community.
                        She envisions organizing events, fundraisers, and initiatives that foster inclusivity
                        and boost school spirit.
                     
                     The coronation of the newly anointed homecoming royalty will take place at the upcoming
                        homecoming game against Co-Lin on Saturday, October 7, at 5:00 p.m., hosted at the
                        James E. Miller Stadium.
